August 2025 ‘The Crafty Brum in South Australia’, Solo Exhibition, SALA, Wassail, Adelaide

Established in England, then in 2025 living back in SA, Kate was re-exploring her state as a visual artist. Kate's aim was for her pieces to be an open love letter to South Australia and all the things she missed about our state whilst living abroad. Kate works with acrylic, watercolour, lino, collage and digital to create a large body of Adelaide themed work.

Think, the buzz of the Adelaide Fringe at sunset, the waves peacefully ebbing on Second Valley beach, and the distinct smell of gum nut blossoms blooming on a warm day, these were a few of Kate's inspirations.

This was Kate's debut solo Australian exhibition.

'Moved' is a collective established in 2022 by Kate Jones and Gustavo Tovar.

This collective was founded in Birmingham UK and its sole purpose was to bring together and celebrate the work of creatives from all over the world. These creatives had chosen to call Birmingham home and our exhibitions over 2022 and 2023 showcased the work of forty creatives and their strong connections to the city.
