Sturt Desert Peas are such striking little flowers, I think they’re tiny works of art. During Summer the entry to the Botanic Gardens is lined with these flowers, this was where I captured this shot.

About me

I’m Kate, an artist who spent almost a decade in Birmingham, England (otherwise known as Brum). It was there that I established myself as a visual artist, exhibiting and selling my work.

Whilst abroad, I consistently felt the pull back to Australia and seeing the world really made me appreciate how wonderful Aus is! In December 2023 I moved back to Adelaide, established my business in my home town and now in 2026 I have relocated to Cremorne, Tasmania.

What started as a body of work to celebrate Brum has now evolved into somewhat of a scrapbook of wonderful locations, the places I and many of you resonate with.

Overall my aim is for my work to be a celebration of the places I have lived, where I created memories and built lives.
